We have provided this training for many organizations in many situations. Ideally, an organization should be proactive with this training. We have also worked with organizations who have had to deal with the “fall-out” from an incident and have reached to us to provide this training after the fact.

workshopsDiversity impacts us every day of our lives, wherever we go. Diversity influences your thinking and behavior. It is our Culture, Ethnicity, Gender, Generation, Disabilities, etc. Diversity can work for an organization’s success or it can work against it. From this we have issues arise regarding Business Ethics, Harassment, and Bullying.

Business Ethics are:

The behaviors that a business adheres to in its daily dealings with the world. They apply not only to how the business interacts with the world at large, but also to their one-on-one dealings with a single customer.

The definition of Harassment is:

An act committed by a person that makes another feel uncomfortable, offended, intimidated or oppressed. The act committed takes place in workplace environment including an office, a store, a school, a factory or any place where people are employed and conduct work. It can be something that is said or it can be an action.

Another issue is Workplace Bullying:

35% of the U.S. workforce (an est. 53.5 million Americans) report being bullied at work; an additional 15% witness it. Half of all Americans have directly experienced it. Simultaneously, 50% report neither experiencing nor witnessing bullying.  Hence, a “silent epidemic.“ Bullying is 4 times more prevalent than illegal harassment.
