Mary Erlain has a healthcare background and a passion for helping seniors. She created a 5 part series of workshops to help seniors learn the very basic skills in working with computers. She has facilitated these programs to a host of seniors through a Chicagoland Township and has received rave reviews.
If you have a group of seniors who would like to participate in these programs, you will need to provide:
- Training Room equipped with computers for each participant
- Projector and screen (or big screen TV) to project the PowerPoint presentations
Computer Training consists of:
- Computer Basics Introduction
- Introduction to the Internet
- Introduction to Email
- Introduction to Social Media and Websites for Seniors
- Miscellaneous – Games, Notepad, Files, Recycle Bin, etc.
Additionally, we offer an Introduction to Microsoft Word. This program is a 3 part series to help our seniors work with Word.
Typically, these workshops are 2-3 hours in length. Contact Mary for more information and availability.
